The Parsonage

Built in 1858 by the Holme family, a fine example of Victorian craftsmanship, all of its rooms were heated, which was a real luxury in those days, it was one of the first dwellings to become run down after hearing that a dam was to be built, it lay empty for many years before being pulled down, the set stone above the front gable window now rests in the pumping station below the dam.
