Measand Hall
Above the once magnificent dwelling house of Measand Hall and below after the demolition team of the territorial army's Royal Engineers has finished, Mrs Edmondson of Measand Hall Farm told a local newspaper of the day, they were using a new type of explosive, she heard the blast that day, when she looked out of her window, she saw stones landing in the beck a hundreds of yards away.
